About the event
The Painting with Professional Artists series offers creative opportunities for the general public, artists, and appreciators to learn traditional painting techniques from degreed or certified professional artists and educators. Starting Saturday, February 28, 2026 at Samuell Grand park, with an outdoor landscape painting session hosted by Dr. Robert Weiss from 12:00-2:00 PM. Participants will explore landscape painting techniques by using the park’s natural foliage as subject matter. Following this activity Christopher 'C-Ray' Rayson will host a Still-Life Painting session from 2:30-4:00 PM. Guests are encouraged to explore and paint their favorite areas of interest while creating original works of art. Painting supplies, easels, and aprons will be provided for both sessions with ticket purchase.
